CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department conducted a prescribed burn at Noelridge and Navajo parks Thursday morning.
Residents may see smoke in the area during the burns, which are part of routine prairie management. City staff said the fires are carefully planned and closely monitored.
