EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The body of a young man who was discovered on Tuesday, March 3, at a canal in El Paso’s Lower Valley has been identified by his family as 19-year-old Rogelio Suarez, according to Telemundo.
EPPD: Body of 20-year-old man found in canal
As KTSM 9 News has previously reported, El Paso police were dispatched to the 7500 block of Nimitz Place on Tuesday in reference to an “unknown problem”.
Once officers arrived, they requested the Crimes Against Persons unit and reported that the body of a young Hispanic man was found in a canal near the area.
El Paso Police Department’s Sergeant Gomez said his body was found inside the canal, but the canal is currently not full of water.
Police say the cause of his death is currently unknown, but they did note that his death is “suspicious.”…
