Public Storage moves after 50 years
Public Storage, the largest self-storage company in the country, announced on Feb. 12, 2026, that it will move its headquarters from Glendale, Calif., to Frisco, Texas.
The company owns or operates more than 3,500 facilities across 40 states and trades on the New York Stock Exchange as a member of the S&P 500.
The board approved the move on Feb. 10, making it effective right away. The decision ends more than 50 years in Southern California.
