NEBRASKA — A Nebraska family is mourning after an Iranian drone attack overseas killed an Army Reserve soldier from Bellevue and three other service members.
The Pentagon confirmed Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, a 42-year-old Army Reserve soldier, was killed Sunday in Kuwait. The Pentagon said an Iranian unmanned aircraft struck a military operations center in Port Shuaiba, killing Tietjens and three other soldiers.
