Analysts say Iran conflict is impacting Rockford-area gas prices

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The price of gasoline is on the rise in the Rockford area, and gas price analysts say the conflict in Iran could force prices even higher.

Rockfordians are feeling pain at the pump. People filling up at a station on the city’s west side said they were surprised to see prices so high on Wednesday.

“Definitely noticed today,” said Rockford’s Tajaun Wilson. “Not good, because I just bought this truck. I’m not happy about it.”…
