A Conroe man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for opening fire and wounding three last year at the Goose’s Acre pub in the Woodlands, court records show.
Calvin Sanders, 28, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the Feb. 23, 2025, shooting.
Authorities said Sanders fired his weapon after an argument with another man in the bar escalated to a fight. During the fight, Sanders drew his gun and shot three people, including the man with whom he was fighting. Bystanders injured and restrained Sanders until police arrived…
