Community Blood Center of the Ozarks honored Aurora School District for its longevity and commitment to saving lives on Feb. 5 at a luncheon “Thankquet” event at Bass Pro in Springfield.
David Mais, assistant superintendent, represented Aurora High School Youth Empowerment/Student Council and Sources of Strength at the event where Aurora received a Top 10 Award for this year’s donations.
This year’s blood drive tally is at the 130 mark.
