Prosecutors: Suspect chose elderly man as easy target after bus altercation

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Prosecutors say a robbery suspect admitted targeting his victim because he is elderly and has a possible mental disability.

According to court documents, the robbery occurred Friday, Sept. 27, after the suspect and victim had a verbal altercation on a bus in Southeast Portland.
