CAPE CORAL, Florida — Renee Lynn Companioni, a 47-year-old resident, has been arrested following an investigation into the fraudulent use of a local business owner’s credit card, according to a press release from the Cape Coral Police Department.
On December 7, 2025, officers were alerted to a fraud complaint involving a Chase business credit card belonging to a local air conditioning company. The victim reported receiving an alert from their bank and, upon reviewing recent transactions, identified a Cape Coral smoke shop as one of several locations where their business card had been used without permission.
Detectives with the Economic Crimes Unit discovered that the card had been taken from the business, used repeatedly, and later returned to the office.
