BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man has been sentence to 18 years in prison for a 2023 arson in Buffalo’s Seneca Babcock neighborhood.
Scott Sinwell, 44, of Buffalo plead guilty to arson in the second degree in December of 2025 to a count of arson in the second degree and was sentenced to 18 years, plus five years of post-release supervision, Erie County DA Michael Keane announced.
The original incident took place on June 2, 2023, where Sinwell started a fire behind a home in the Seneca Babcock neighborhood. The address of the house was not disclosed…
