GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Citing a miscommunication, the owner of the Biggby Coffee café inside McKay Tower in downtown Grand Rapids says the shop will not permanently close Sunday.
Employees at the location, 146 Monroe Center St. NW, had been telling customers the café was slated to close March 8. Reached Thursday evening, owner Tim Hoffman said that is incorrect.
“We’re not looking to close that location,” he said. “We’re going to have to do a little digging to see what exactly is going on and what was communicated there.”…
