Court documents: Man entered USA dorm with intent to murder, threatened two students at gunpoint

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Court documents say a 23-year-old man who is not a University of South Alabama student entered a campus residence hall with the intent to murder.

King Diamond is charged with burglary, menacing, unlawful imprisonment and illegally carrying a firearm.

What happened

University officials said Diamond threatened two students at gunpoint around 2 p.m. Monday after entering a dorm through a student’s unlocked door. The students ran and called police, who arrested Diamond on scene.
