Some grandchildren must be rejoicing after a Massachusetts man who recently won a big lottery prize announced how he plans on spending his winnings.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Stephen Foley of South Dennis is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state Lucky for Life game after the first five numbers on his ticket matched those selected in the February 14, 2026, drawing.
Foley claimed his prize Tuesday, March 3 at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on using his winnings to treat his grandchildren…
