MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The woman accused of fatally shooting Memphis pastor Ricky Floyd last year is expected to appear in court for a bond hearing Friday morning.
Samantha Marion, 42, is facing a charge of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the incident. Marion’s attorney said the two were involved in an argument over religion before the shooting.
The incident took place at Momma’s Bar and Kitchen, 855 Kentucky St. at Crump, at 1:14 a.m. on March 12. A man was pronounced dead on the scene, and Marion was taken into custody, according to the MPD.
