LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln man accused of shooting at a police officer during an attempted burglary was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on Wednesday.
The jail roster shows 49-year-old Robert Bures in its system. He is accused of attempted second-degree murder, burglary, felon in possession of a firearm, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest in the shooting.
The records show that Bures was also arrested on two county warrants and an outside agency warrant.
On Wednesday, Officer Kirby Urbanek was dispatched to the Office Depot near 48th and R streets just after 1:30 a.m. for an alarm near the rear doors. Upon arrival, Urbanek located Bures inside a small access door behind the dumpster near the back dock, LPD said…
