JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Scattered showers across the area this afternoon! More of the same for the coming days. Temperatures will top out near 80, where you miss the rain, and likely in the upper 70s even if you see a little. Keep the rain gear close for the foreseeable future; we have even better chances for downpours heading into the weekend.
Rain chances will peak Saturday afternoon and evening as a cold front pushes into the area. This front will not bring us any big change in temperatures, just a better chance for showers and storms. While there is some storm energy, we are not expecting severe weather from this system…
