SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Staff at Mudhouse Coffee on South Avenue held a candlelight vigil on the sidewalk outside the shop to honor a regular customer who was shot and killed nearby last week.
Anthony Chambers, 48, was shot and killed on Friday near the coffee shop. Staff said Chambers was a friendly face and a familiar regular they will miss.
Caden Burks, 22, is charged with second-degree murder in Chambers’ death. Burks is scheduled to appear in court for a bond hearing on Tuesday…
