Las Vegas man sentenced to prison for illegal possession of pistol

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man recently released from Southern Nevada Detention Center on a separate case was sentenced on Thursday to prison for unlawfully possessing a pistol.

Ricardo Heriberto Miranda was sentenced on Thursday to 42 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, according to court documents and court statements cited in a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.
