VANCOUVER, Wash. — Several staff members at Fort Vancouver High School called out Wednesday, citing safety concerns after posts from an Instagram account depicting altered images of teachers circulated online.
In a message to parents, the school’s principal thanked families for their patience during what he described as a “unique school day.” Teachers were absent, substitute instructors were brought in, and some students had classes combined in larger spaces — including the auditorium — for a period of time before returning to their normal schedules.
