The Birdman and Sheeba educate community about wildlife conservation at Nevada Premier Sportsman Expo

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada Premier Sportsman Expo returns to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center Friday-Sunday, March 6-8.

To help promote the event and wildlife conservation and education, Joe “The Birdman” Krathwohl and his Tanzanian Bateleur eagle, Sheeba, stopped by Morning Break. She is one of just 20 eagles of her species in the United States and one of only five female birds. They’ll be providing educational talks and demonstrations at the expo this weekend. The goal is to help people better understand the magnificence of these birds and how each individual person can help preserve the habitats of wild birds.
