One person is fighting for life after a fierce house fire rocked a north Phoenix neighborhood on Wednesday, with nearby residents reporting a series of explosions before firefighters arrived on scene.
The blaze broke out near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, where crews pulled up to find a home fully engulfed in flames. Neighbors told officials they heard multiple blasts before the fire took hold, turning the house into a fireball that drew a heavy emergency response.
