March 6, 2026 – Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is pleased to announce that Sarasota-based Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists has joined the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
With more than 30 years of expertise in neurological surgery of the brain, spine, peripheral nerves and surrounding structures, the Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists team is transitioning the practice to FPG this week. The practice will now operate as First Physicians Group Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists.
The practice’s longtime Sarasota neurosurgeons Robert Knego, MD; Peter Mayer, MD; Kenneth Vives, MD; Ryan Glasser, MD; and Andrew Fine, MD – as well as their clinical team and practice staff – will be part of the transition.
