MARIN, Calif. (KRON) — Drivers filling up at a Marin County gas station said prices are downright “outrageous.” Prices at the pump continued climbing Friday in the Bay Area, and AAA says they are recording enormous spikes statewide.
At one Chevron gas station in Marin County, prices jumped 40 cents within hours, from $5.29 to $5.69 per gallon. One man who was filling up his car with diesel felt an even bigger pinch at $7 a gallon. Supreme gas rose to $6.09.
