Indianapolis man follows in twin brother’s footsteps with ‘Jeopardy!’ appearance

INDIANAPOLIS — Thursday night’s episode of “Jeopardy!” took on an Indiana flair.

Cory Aiello, development services coordinator at the IU Indianapolis Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, made his debut as a contestant on the game show, challenging two-day champion Quentin Powers.

Aiello settled right in, racking up $4,200 before the first commercial break, $2,600 more than Powers and $2,000 more than the other challenger, Nishal Shah. He continued his dominance through the “Jeopardy!” round, extending his lead over Powers to $4,400…
