Lawsuit blames central Pa. school district for bullied 12-year-old’s suicide

The parents of a boy who killed himself in 2024 are suing the Lebanon School District claiming their employees didn’t do enough to protect him from discriminatory bullying.

Sandra Jusino says the school district violated her 12-year-old son Yadriel’s constitutional rights by not responding adequately to reports he was being bullied on account of his heritage and dyslexia.

At least two years of that bullying culminated in Yadriel killing himself June 3, 2024. His sister, who often stood up for him and reported the bullying with him, was the first to find him…
