KNOXVILLE (WATE) — It’s been nearly a year since Maryville native and Missionary Josh Sullivan was held at gunpoint and kidnapped while preaching in South Africa.
The Sullivans are now back in South Africa doing what they say they were called to do – missionary work.
“There’s no doubt that going back to the church, standing and preaching in the same bull pit, the last time you did that didn’t turn out too well. So there’s definitely something in the back of your mind,” said Sullivan.
