The unhinged man who allegedly clocked an NYPD cop in the head while the officer tried to arrest him for an earlier stabbing was busted Friday morning, law enforcement sources said.
Sergio Santiago, 41, was picked up several hours after he allegedly chucked an unknown object at the cop’s head in the B and D train mezzanine of the Fordham Road subway station around 5:20 p.m. Thursday and ran off, authorities and sources said.
The blow left a cut on the officer’s head, and he was rushed in a department cruiser to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police said…
