A 41-year-old Silver Springs woman with prior theft convictions is back behind bars after allegedly stealing an Amazon package from a mailbox in a local neighborhood.
On Wednesday, March 4, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office corporal responded to the 3700 block of NE 58th Avenue in Silver Springs. A witness had reported seeing a woman stealing an Amazon package from a neighbor’s mailbox, according to the arrest report.
The witness stated that the suspect was “dressed in all black with a bright pink or red fuzzy hat on.” In addition, the witness mentioned that they have previously seen the suspect “looking through mailboxes on the road.”…
