PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Gov. Dan McKee announced that he has requested and received the resignation of Department of Administration Director Jonathan Womer after months of problems with new state employee payroll system.
According to state officials, the operational challenges have raised concerns about the handling of state employee’s personal information and overall administration of state systems.
