Bus trip planned from Mobile to Selma for the 61st Bridge Crossing Jubilee

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – An annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee is taking place to commemorate the 61st anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the Selma to Montgomery march, and the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

People United to Advance the Dream, Mobile, will take a bus trip to Selma on Sunday, March 8, and the public is invited.

The bus is expected to leave at 5:30 a.m. from 2523 St. Stephens Road and return around 9:00 p.m.
