STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 19-year-old man who was convicted in a shootout near a playground now stands accused in a robbery where he allegedly threatened to “boom” the victim.
Malachi Emory of Park Hill Avenue and his alleged accomplice, Elijah Bryant, 19, of Brewster Street in Stapleton, were indicted on January 29 for the mugging that occurred on Dec. 21 at about 4 p.m. in the 1400 block of Castleton Avenue in Port Richmond, according to police and prosecution court documents.
The victim, who did not report any injuries to police, also was a 19-year-old man, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation…
