A former Toledo police officer was sentenced Friday to one year of probation for shoplifting items worth about $30 from a Walmart store.
Gregory Long, Jr., 42, had been accused of shoplifting from the Holland Walmart twice in early 2025. He pleaded no contest in December to unauthorized use of property, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, in Sylvania Municipal Court.
