CHICAGO — A Chicago woman accused of shooting another woman inside a restaurant on the city’s South Side back in January is now facing a felony charge.
Chicago police say 21-year-old Amiyah Fort has been charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
According to police, the incident unfolded just after 2 p.m. on Jan. 29, inside a restaurant in the 100 block of East 71st Street in Grand Crossing.
