Yesterday, Shreveport Police Department responded to a major crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at E. Dalzell Street and Youree Drive.
When SPD got to the scene, they found members of the Shreveport Fire Department already were already there rendering medical aid to the pedestrian. The victim was transported to a local hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation showed a vehicle driving southbound on Youree Drive hit the pedestrian while he was in the roadway. After being hit by the first car, a second vehicle also struck the person lying in the roadway…
