Las Vegas woman sentenced for threatening judges, probation officer

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Las Vegas woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for threatening two federal judges and a probation officer.

Latonia Smith was convicted for threatening the officials, who were involved in her previous federal death threat conviction after she threatened lawyers in another case.

A jury found that Smith had threatened U.S. District Judge Richard Boulware, who presided over her 2021 death threat case and sentenced her to 36 months…
