BETHLEHEM — After months of construction activity both inside and outside the new Delmar location of Uncommon Grounds, the popular bagel and coffee shop chain is getting ready to open its doors to the public.
A piece of paper taped to one of the entrances of the eatery’s yet-to-be-opened location in the old Brueggers Bagels spot in Delaware Plaza declared that the store will open “next week,” amid staff training.
Delaware Plaza is anchored by a Hannaford supermarket and gets a lot of car traffic from both Albany and parts west from Delaware Avenue. Curious consumers have been asking contractors about the progress. Large signs with the Uncommon Grounds name are now installed on the exterior…
