CLEVELAND (WJW) – There’s an old saying that “you can’t fight city hall,” but a Cleveland man refused to believe that and waged a two-and-a-half year battle with the city to save his beloved pet.
In August 2023, a dog, considered to be a hybrid between a wolf and a German shepherd, was seized by the city of Cleveland after investigators concluded the animal got loose from her owner’s backyard and mauled a woman on East 147th Street.
Body camera video revealed that an animal control officer had trouble removing the wolf-hybrid from the property, so the owner, De’Cardo March, volunteered to help out of concern that his pet, named Briccs, would be hurt…
