Evansville man sentenced to three years for attempted battery with a deadly weapon

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — An Evansville man has been sentenced to 3 years in prison and one year probation following a river camp shooting case.

Derek Smith was convicted of attempted battery with a deadly weapon. However, he was also found mentally ill in the conviction.
