Businesses and customers gain access to Grade Lane, but struggling to return months after UPS plane crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — People and businesses have more access to spots along Grade Lane that were right in the path of UPS Flight 2676 that crashed.

Louisville Metro announced Thursday that it rolled back the checkpoint. The section between Crittenden Drive and Knopp Avenue remains closed, but customers and businesses can access the open area from Outer Loop.

That still does affect the number of people who drive through the area, especially those coming from the airport…
