STOCKTON, Calif. — A University of the Pacific student who appeared as a background actor in the upcoming HBO show “Rooster” says the experience of filming alongside Steve Carell in Stockton was the highlight of her summer.
Juli Alexander, a Pacific student studying communication, media and public relations, was among the many students, faculty, staff and community members who took part in filming for the 10-episode series, which was partially shot on the university’s Stockton campus in June.
Alexander said she heard about the opportunity through a post from Pacific Communications; they were looking for students who were in town during the summer to appear as background actors…
