NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A First Alert Weather Day was issued for Saturday, March 7 due to a line of scattered strong to severe storms that could bring strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

Timing of Saturday’s storms:

  • 7:54 a.m. – Severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Hardin County, TN, Madison County, TN, Benton County, TN, Henry County, TN, Decatur County, TN, Carroll County, TN from 7:53 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 10 a.m. to noon. storms arrive in West Middle Tennessee
  • Noon to 3 p.m. storms reach Interstate 65 including Metro Nashville
  • 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. storms reach east of I-65
