(KRON) — As the City of Oakland announced an official date for its community-wide celebration of hometown hero and Olympic gold medalist figure skater Alysa Liu, the star went to social media to share a series of unsettling fan encounters she recently experienced while traveling.
The 20-year-old shared in a post on Instagram Stories on Wednesday that read, “So I land at the airport, & there’s a crowd waiting at the exit with cameras & things for me to sign. All up in my personal space. Someone chased me to my car bruh. Please do not do that to me.”
Liu did not name the airport or provide further details about the incident.
