Gas prices rising in Southwest Virginia due to multiple factors

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Gas prices in Southwest Virginia are rising, with the statewide average up 28 cents since the previous week and higher in some areas.

Tyler Horst, a local driver, said the jump caught him off guard at the pump.
