A person was killed in a crash on Route 20 in Shrewsbury at about 1 a.m. Friday.
At about 1:20 a.m. on March 6, a 911 call reported a crash near 800 Hartford Turnpike. Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department found a Ford sedan that had crashed, overturned and was resting upside down on its roof. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Prior to emergency personnel arriving, a second vehicle, a Toyota sedan, had hit the Ford in the roadway after it had first crashed. The Toyota, police said, was not involved in the initial crash, and its driver was not injured…
