I-35 northbound near Slaughter Lane reopens after crash involving multiple vehicles

AUSTIN, Texas — All lanes of Interstate 35 northbound towards Slaughter Lane have reopened after a a multi-vehicle crash early Friday morning in South Austin.

All lanes of the roadway were closed for several hours after the crash happened sometime before 4:50 a.m. in the 9900 block of I-35.

Several semi-trucks appeared to be involved, according to KVUE crews on scene, but the exact number of vehicles is unknown at this time. Austin police said at least one person was injured in the crash…
