Rosewood Greenlit for 2,000 Plano Apartment Units

The City of Plano has agreed to allow Rosewood Property Group to make changes to Heritage Creekside, a 156-acre mixed-use development located at the intersection of Plano Parkway and Alma Drive. Community Impact reports the changes allow additional residential, retail, and commercial uses within the development.

The company has the green light to move forward with The Buckley, a 338-unit apartment complex. The company has already completed the 326-unit Ludlow on the site. Rosewood is using the same team on The Buckley. Hensley, Lamkin, Rachel Inc. serves as the architect. Provident General Contractors will build the project, and Broadway Bank is the lender of record.

The mixed-use district was established in 2014, and development plans have been modified several times since then. Under the recently amended plan, the development would include 2,000 multifamily units at full build-out.
