(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Monday, March 9, Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) will begin work on the first phase of electric infrastructure relocations as part of its Central Bluffs Substation project.
Springs Utilities said the lane closures were postponed from January to allow for additional preparation and inspection work to be finished.
The three-phase project will include rolling lane closures along Austin Bluffs Parkway between Union Boulevard and North Academy Boulevard. The closures are so crews can safely access and relocate underground electric lines in preparation for a new substation…
