CORVALLIS, Ore. – The final stage of a significant water pipeline replacement under the Marys River was expected to begin this week, according to Corvallis city officials.
According to Corvallis Public Works, this phase will upgrade an old 20-inch pipeline to a 36-inch one beneath 3rd Street, just south of the river. The construction was expected to start the first week of March, using open trenching to navigate the complex underground utilities in the area. To reduce disruption, work will shift to overnight hours starting around March 9, continuing until April.
