A Lane County Sheriff’s deputy attempting to detain a man in Dunes City managed to avoid injury when the suspect pulled out a knife Wednesday, March 4, the sheriff’s office said.
Dustin Steven Lafrance, 34, reportedly ran from the deputy after displaying the weapon but was later arrested and booked into Lane County Jail on multiple charges, including unlawful use of a weapon, the sheriff’s office said.
