Teen charged as police probe robbery spree, more arrests expected

HONOLULU (Island News) – Detectives with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) are actively investigating recent robberies that were reported, claiming that several of the incidents are connected.

The investigation revealed evidence that indicates that several of the incidents are connected and that the suspects appear to be part of the same group of men.

On March 3, 2026, HPD arrested a 17-year-old boy for Robbery in the Second Degree. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on February 26, in Waikiki, where the teen allegedly used force to steal someone’s personal belongings…
